Katherine Falwell, Ph.D., Executive DirectorKatherine Falwell, Ph.D., Clinical Director

Board Certified Behavior Analyst-Doctorate (BCBA-D)

Dr. Katherine Falwell is the Executive Director of Keystone Behavioral Pediatrics and The Keystone Academy. She is a licensed clinical psychologist and Board Certified Behavior Analyst-Doctorate (BCBA-D). Dr. Falwell received her Ph.D. in Psychology from Fielding Graduate University, and her certification in Behavior Analysis from George Mason University. She completed her pre-doctoral internship at the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine and the Kennedy Krieger Institute and completed her postdoctoral training at the University of Florida. Dr. Falwell serves both typically developing and special needs children as a clinician, educator, consultant and researcher.  In addition to serving as Executive Director, Dr. Falwell is also a faculty member at the University of Massachusetts.

 

Dr. Kelly Ilsley, PsyD, Director of Clinical Services
Licensed Psychologist, Board Certified Behavior Analyst-Doctorate (BCBA-D) & Certified Occupational Therapist

Dr. Kelly Ilsley is the Director of Clinical Services at Keystone Behavioral Pediatrics. She is a licensed psychologist, certified by the American Board of Professional Psychology in cognitive & behavioral psychology; she is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst-Doctorate (BCBA-D); and a nationally certified occupational therapist. Dr. Ilsley received her Doctor of Psychology from the Forest Institute of Professional Psychology, and her certification in Applied Behavior Analysis from Pennsylvania State University. She completed her predoctoral internship at Pennsylvania Counseling Services with rotations in child and adolescent outpatient therapy; alternative education counseling with adolescents; inpatient drug and alcohol rehabilitation; and in-home family crisis intervention. Dr. Ilsley completed her postdoctoral fellowship in Pediatric Psychology at Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children in Dallas, TX. Her prior experience also includes working with children and adolescents in a variety of community-based, outpatient, school, and inpatient settings. Dr. Ilsley moved to Florida from California, where she served as Associate Director at a non-public agency that provides ABA services to youth with autism-spectrum disorders.

 

 

Adrienne DeSantis, Ph.D., Director of Assessment and Doctoral Training
Licensed Psychologist
Certified School Psychologist

Dr. Adrienne DeSantis is a Licensed Psychologist and Nationally Certified School Psychologist.  She received a dual B.S. in Psychology and Child Development/ Family Sciences from the Florida State University and her Ph.D. in School Psychology from the University of South Carolina.  Dr. DeSantis completed her pre-doctoral internship and post-doctoral fellowship at the Kennedy Krieger Institute of the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine, where her training was in behavioral and cognitive behavioral treatment for children with challenging behaviors.  Dr. DeSantis currently provides a range of services to families and children, including behavioral assessment and treatment, individual and family therapy, parent and teacher training, psychoeducational evaluations, and school consultation. 

 

Dr. Nandita JoshiLori Lawrimore
Board Certified Child, Adolescent and Adult Psychiatrist

After graduating medical school, Dr. Joshi completed her residency in Adult Psychiatry at Columbia University's St. Luke's-Roosevelt Hospital Center in New York City. She then completed her fellowship in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at The Johns Hopkins University, School of Medicine in Baltimore, Maryland, followed by additional fellowship training in Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in New York City.

Before moving to Jacksonville, she worked as the Director of the Adolescent Psychiatric Inpatient Unit at Focus By The Sea Hospital in St. Simon's Island, Georgia. Dr. Joshi is double boarded - in Adult as well as Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. She offers comprehensive outpatient care including diagnostic evaluations, second opinions, medication management, and patient and family education. She also engages in medical research at Clinical Neuroscience Solutions, Inc. in Jacksonville, Florida.

Integrating her strong academic background, clinical experience and findings from latest research, she provides the highest quality of care to her patients.

 

Lori LawrimoreLori Lawrimore
Director of Administration

Lori Lawrimore is the Director of Administration for Keystone Behavioral Pediatrics. In addition to her position with Keystone Behavioral Pediatrics, Lori is a full-time mom caring for her two young sons, who are both diagnosed with autism spectrum disorders. She has a degree in Business Administration from Miami Jacobs College, and has worked an extensive career ranging from meeting and event planning, sales management, human resources, and call center management.

Jami Hughes

Dr. Jami Hughes has over 8 years experience treating children with an Autism using Applied Verbal Behavior (AVB)/Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). She received her doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis in Child and Family Psychology in 2005 and her master’s degree in Clinical Psychology in 2001 from the Minnesota School of Professional Psychology. Her Pre-Doctoral Psychology Internship was completed at Girls and Boys Town, a residential treatment facility that employs a behavioral approach to treating typically developing adolescents with a disruptive behavior disorder. Dr. Hughes graduated from St. Mary’s University of Minnesota in 1998 with her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology. She relocated from Minnesota in June of 2010 to join KBP. Dr. Hughes has been supervising the AVB treatment programs of children for over five years in center-based and in-home settings and has over four years experience directly providing individual ABA therapy to children with Autism. She has advanced training and experience in the use of ABA that emphasizes B.F. Skinner’s analysis of verbal behavior (VB) with vocal and non-vocal children with Autism. Dr. Hughes has also worked with typically developing children and adolescents with problem behavior in day treatment, residential, and school settings, and adults in an inpatient setting. She has given numerous presentations to individual instructors and parents on various topics. Her clinical interests include: AVB, AVB teaching methods, functional assessment of and treatment of problem behavior, use of sign language with non-vocal children with Autism, functional analysis of verbal behavior, Functional Communication Training, development of vocal behavior in non-vocal children with Autism, program development and organization, quality assurance and staff and parent training.
