Keystone Weekly Groups

Social Skills Groups for children with Autism Spectrum Disorders will resume on September 14, 2009. Groups will be held on Monday and Thursday from 5-6pm.

We are pleased to offer Sib Shops, a special group for siblings of special needs children. This group will focus on helping siblings better understand the needs of their brother or sister with special needs. Sib Shops will be taught by Dr. Katie Falwell and the group will meet on the first Monday of every month beginning October 5, 2009. Please call Keystone Behavioral Pediatrics for more information.

Mom's Morning Out

We will be offering Mom's morning out to mothers' of special needs children from 9-12 on Tuesdays and Thursdays. An emphasis will be placed on play and social skills development.

A special reminder to all families: On the first Wednesday of every month from 5-6pm, you will have an opportunity to meet and greet with all the doctors at Keystone Behavioral Pediatrics. This is a wonderful opportunity to get to know Dr. Falwell, Dr. DeSantis, Dr. Kolb, and Dr. Nabizadeh. Please bring any questions you may have about our practice.

Occupational Therapy

We are so excited to announce Keystone's Senior Occupational Therapist, R.J. Navarro. Appointments with R.J. can be made by calling our office.

RJ graduated with his degree in Occupational Therapy from the University of Southern California in Los Angeles (USC). He has spent his entire career in settings specializing in Neurological Rehabilitation in both the adult and pediatric population. Areas of specialty with adults include Stroke and Spinal Cord Injury rehabilitation. Within the pediatric population, RJ has focused his services to those with Autism, Cerebral Palsy, Spinal Cord Injuries, and Downs Syndrome working in pediatric home care, the school system, and a pediatric Sensory Integration Clinic. He has worked extensively in Visual Therapy, Hand Splinting, and Wheelchair seating. RJ is also certificated in Neuro-Developmental Treatment with practical knowledge of all modalities. He is currently the Senior Occupational Therapist at Keystone Behavioral Pediatrics working within a multi-disciplinaryteam approach.

BACK TO SCHOOL ASSESSMENTS

Keystone Behavioral Pediatrics offers Comprehensive Psychological, Psychoeducational, and Autism Assessments for children ages 2-21 years of age. Some of the behaviors and diagnoses we provide treatment for include, but are not limited to the following:
