Professional Training
Keystone Behavioral Pediatrics provides supervised training for practicum trainees. The training curriculum covers: assessment and evaluation, intervention and treatment planning, research, ethics, diversity, and professional conduct.
Our clinical approach is based on the scientist-practitioner model. As a result, practicum trainees learn to use empirically supported methods and strategies. These may include: applied behavior analysis, behavior therapy, cognitive-behavior therapy, systems therapies, and other empirically validated treatments.
Training experiences include:
Direct contact services with children and families
Individual and group supervision
Data analysis and interpretation
Presentation of clinical work to staff and peers
Research projects/activities encountered through clinical services
Practicum trainees may include:
College students seeking practicum credit
Persons seeking supervision/experience to satisfy BACB requirements
Professionals seeking specialized training
