School Consultation/IEP Support
Services are available for students experiencing behavior or academic problems in the school environment. Consultation may be requested by either the parent or the school district and involves direct contact with the child, family members, and school personnel.
Consultation Services include:
- Assistance with RTI (Response to Intervention)
- Functional Behavioral Assessments
- Behavior Management Plans
- IEP Development
- Placement Recommendations
- Assistance with Inclusion
- Social Skills Assessment and Training
- Functional Communication Training
- ABA Curriculum Development and Supervision
Group Training:
We also offer group training for school personnel on various behavioral techniques and strategies. School personnel may include administrators, teachers, paraprofessionals, therapists, guidance counselors, and other support staff. Topics may include but are not limited to:
- RTI (Response to Intervention)
- School-Wide Positive Support Plans
- Behavior Assessment and Intervention
- Review of Autism Spectrum Disorders
- ABA/Verbal Behavior Basics
- ABLLS-R scoring and interpretation
- Social Skills Training Programs
